Iran sympathizes with victims of Qatar blaze

TEHRAN,June 5(MNA) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Thursday sympathizing with those families who lost their loved ones in a deadly blaze at a shopping centre in Qatar. In the inferno at Doha’s Villagio mall on Monday, 19 people, including 13 children and two firefighters, were burned to death. All the victims were foreigners. Iranian firefighter Mahmoud Pouladi, who lived in Doha, was killed while trying to rescue children. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast offered his condolences to the family of Pouladi and praised his sacrifices.
