Iran’s National Orchestra performs at Kuwait festival

TEHRAN,June 9(MNA) – Iran’s National Orchestra performed at the 15th International Music Festival in Kuwait on Thursday night. Conducted by Bardia Kiaras, the orchestra attended the festival which runs from June 5 to 10 at the Dasma Theater in Kuwait. The orchestra accompanied by vocalist Alireza Qorbani performed memorable pieces composed by Ruhollah Khaleqi during the event. Iranians in the audience warmly welcomed the memorable song “Oh Iran” performed by the orchestra during the event. Music troupes from Bolivia, Jordan, Iran, Yemen, Egypt and Kuwait are attending the festival.
