Ahmadinejad to attend UN Earth Summit in Brazil

TEHRAN, June 10 (MNA) – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad planned to pay a visit to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in order to participate in the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED), also known as the Earth Summit, which is scheduled to be held from June 20 to June 22. The conference is organized by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs. Ahmadinejad will also visit Venezuela and Peru.
