Senior advisor optimistic about expert meetings with 5+1 group

TEHRAN,June 23(MNA) - Ali Akbar Velayati, a senior advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader said that he is optimistic about expert meetings between Iran and the 5+1 group (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany), which are scheduled to be held in Istanbul on July 3. “Iran is ready to engage in any kind of negotiations if the other sides in the 5+1 group are ready to recognize the rights of the Islamic Republic of Iran under international agreements,” Velayati told on Thursday.
