Najjar: Conference 5+6, Significant Stride Towards Utilizing Iran-Iraq Potentials

Tehran, June 25, IRNA – Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar said on Sunday that the upcoming conference dubbed as 5+6 can help utilize the untapped economic, cultural and scientific potentials of Iran and Iraq. Addressing a meeting of governors general of Iranian and Iraqi border provinces, Najjar said the Conference 5+6 and withdrawal of US forces from Iraq herald a promising future for the Iraqi people. He expressed the hope that under such circumstances the Iraqi government and nation shouls remain united in order to attain development and disappoint the aggressors. Withdrawal of US forces and holding of such conferences are signs of significant success and progress of the Iraqi nation and have a clear message for the international community.
