Iranian documentary submitted for ABU Prizes 2012

TEHRAN,June 25(MNA) -- An Iranian documentary about the sources of the Zayanderud River has been submitted to the ABU Prizes 2012 in South Korea. Directed by Jamal Oskuii, “The Whisper of Zenderud” will be competing for the ABU Perspective Award at this international competition, which has been established by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) for radio and TV programs. The documentary has been produced by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), IRIB branch of Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari Province director told the Persian service of ISNA on Sunday. “The Whisper of Zenderud” gives details about the economic, social, industrial and cultural impacts flowing from the Zayanderud River. Water is main theme of this year’s ABU Prizes, which will be held in Seoul from October 11 to 17.
