TEHRAN,June 30(MNA) – In a telephone conversation on Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and his German counterpart Guido Westerwelle held talks on various issues including the recent nuclear negotiations between Iran and the major powers in which Germany is a member. The latest round of negotiations between Tehran and the major powers was held in Moscow on June 18 and 19 in which the sides agreed to hold expert meetings in Istanbul on July 3. The talks were a follow-up to negotiations in Istanbul on April 14 and in Baghdad on May 23-24 Salehi and Westerwelle expressed hope that the expert meetings would prepare the ground for advancing talks at higher levels.
