Iranian organization, Azeri university discuss bilateral relations

TEHRAN,July 7(MNA) -- The founder of Khazar University, a private Azeri academic center in Baku, hosted an official of Iran’s Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) on Thursday. Hamlet Isaxanli and ICRO Deputy Director for International Affairs Karim Najafi Barzegar discussed the expansion of bilateral relations. Holding joint seminars, exchanging students and scholars between the organization and the university were also discussed at the meeting. These collaborations will help Iranian and Azeri youth to increase their knowledge about the luminaries of both countries, Barzegar said. Barzegar invited Isaxanli, who is also chairman of the Khazar University Board of Directors and Trustees, to visit Iran and its universities. Isaxanli hoped to visit Iran in autumn.
