Iran`s Mohammad Arzande books a place in Olympics

TEHRAN,July 9(MNA)– Long jumper Mohammad Arzandeh advanced to the London 2012 Olympic Games on Saturday. Arzande qualified for the event with a leap of 8 meters and 17 centimeters, adding 18 centimeters to his previous personal best. Ehsan Haddadi in discus throwing, Kaveh Mousavi in hammer throwing, Amin Nikfar and Leila Rajabi in shot put, Sajad Moradi in 800-meter, Sajad Hashemi Ahangari in 400m and Ebrahim Rahimian in 20-kilometer race walk and Rohollah Asgari in 110-meter hurdles have already booked their places in the Olympics.
