Iranian MP censures Tehran prosecutor for bringing charges against him

TEHRAN,July 11(MNA) – Iranian MP Ali Motahhari has strongly criticized the Tehran prosecutor general for bringing charges against him for his recent remarks accusing President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of promoting permissiveness in the country. In a letter published by the Persian service of the Mehr News Agency on Tuesday, Motahhari also advised Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi to make more efforts to promote social justice rather than try to restrict MPs.
