Installation by Iranian artist selected for Moscow biennial

TEHRAN,July 11(MNA) -- The Third Moscow International Biannual for Young Art has selected an installation work created by the Iranian artist Farshid Larimian for its exhibition, which will be held from July 11 to August 12. Larimian’s “Uncertain Horizon” and a number of works from other countries will be put on display at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art. The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Department of Culture of the City of Moscow, the National Center for Contemporary Art, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art and Neuer Berliner Kunstverein. This year’s biennial has been entitled “Under a Tinsel Sun”. The biennial explores the works of the younger generation of artists, and presents drawing, painting, photography, video, performance, mixed media, installation and sound art.
