Tunisian people were pioneers of Islamic Awakening: Iranian Majlis speaker

TEHRAN, July 12 (MNA) – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said that the Tunisian people were pioneers of the wave of Islamic Awakening rolling across the Middle East and North Africa region. The Tunisian people’s move was a starting point for the outbreak of revolutions in other regional countries, Larijani said on Wednesday during a meeting with Sobhi al-Atiq, the chairman of the Ennahda faction in the Constituent Assembly of Tunisia.
