Iran attends African Union summit in Ethiopia

TEHRAN,July 16(MNA) – The director of the Foreign Ministry Department for African Affairs, Valiollah Mohammad-Nasrabadi, has attended the 19th African Union (AU) Summit in Addis Ababa which opened on Sunday, Iranian Ambassador to Ethiopia Ali Bahreini said on Sunday. Bahreini said that Mohammad-Nasrabadi is scheduled to submit President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s invitation letters to the leaders of a number of African countries to attend the XVI Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement which is scheduled to be held in Tehran from August 26 to 31.
