U.S. navy ship fires at UAE boat in Persian Gulf

TEHRAN, July 17 (MNA) - An American ship opened fire on a small UAE boat in the Persian Gulf, killing one and injuring three. An official in the U.S. consulate in Dubai said that the attack was on a private UAE fishing boat, but he refused to give out more information on the case. The Associated Press, in a mischievous report, said the small boat was 9 meters in length and was similar to the speedboats of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards which are considered a threat to American forces in the Persian Gulf.
