Myanmar president arrives in Bangkok

BANGKOK, July 22 (TNA) - Myanmar’s President Thein Sein on Sunday arrived in Thailand, where he will meet Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra for bilateral talks. His three-day visit begins with a trip to Laem Chabang deep sea port in the eastern seaside province of Chon Buri. On Monday, he is to meet with Miss Yingluck at Government House, where they will discuss linking Myanmar’s Tavoy deep sea port with the East-West Economic Corridor, which also involves Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. The Myanmar President’s visit comes after a delay in his arrival since the World Economic Forum on East Asia last month in Bangkok. (TNA)
