Iranian artist displaying paintings in Dubai gallery

TEHRAN,July 24(MNA) – Dubai Art Gallery Carbon12 is currently exhibiting a collection of works by Iranian artist Farzan Sajjadi. The collection named “Wet Dog” depicts images of the abandoned Iranian village of Maar near the city of Ardestan in Isfahan Province, the gallery website reported. The village located in central Iran is suffering from a shortage of water and is almost empty, however there are still a few families left, working hard to make ends meet. The exhibit will be running until September 10. Sajjadi and painter Sara Rahbar held an exhibition at Carbon12 in 2010.
