CHILDREN PAINTING CONTEST ENDS IN KYRGYZ CAPITAL

Baku, 16 0ctober, (AzerTAj)An international contest of children paintings, “We live in CIS”, ended in Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyzstan, naming the winners from CIS countries.

They are 39 children at the age from 5 till 17 from Azerbaijan, Armenia,
Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
The competition organized by Interstate Fund of Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS
member countries and the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan, passed in
two stages: the first was conducted in eight CIS countries; the second (final)
included selection of works for participation in exhibition and definition of
winners.
As stated, 455 drawings were presented for participation in competition. Later, in
Bishkek, the National Museum of the Fine Arts arranged an exhibition of 120 drawings
selected for exposition.
The Catalogue will include paintings of the winners among of which are also
representatives from Azerbaijan.
