CHAIRMAN OF CENTRAL ELECTION COMMISSION GIVES PRESS CONFERENCE
Baku, 16 0ctober, (AzerTAj)Chairman of Azerbaijan Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov gave a press conference on Thursday to announce the voting returns.
Panahov said according to official results from 96% of the polling stations, Ilham
Aliyev leads his rivals with the majority of votes, 88.64 percent.
According to CEC`s chairman, the percentage of votes cast for other six candidates
is as follows:
Igbal Agazade – 2.87%
Fazil Mustafayev – 2.50%
Gudrat Hasanguliyev – 2.30%
Gulamhuseyn Alibeyli – 2.25%
Aliyev Fuad – 0.78%
Hajiyev Hafiz – 0.65%
