Thai Cabinet meeting to be held in Surin Province

BANGKOK, July 29 (TNA) - The Thai Cabinet will convene this July 31 at its sixth mobile meeting, this time at Surin Rajabhat University in Surin province. According to the university, over 2,000 police officers will be mobilized for security. A police motorcade of over 80 vehicles will also be escorting the cabinet members. Sudjai Sa-ardying, vice president of Surin Rajabhat University, expressed confidence against any possible unrest, despite intelligence reports suggesting that up to 5,000 people could be protesting near the venue.
