Iran Official Says Zionist Regime Is Weak, More Hated, Isolated Than Ever Before

Islamabad, July 30, IRNA – Iran's Senior Advisor to the Parliament Speaker for International Affairs on Sunday said that today Zionist regime is weaker, more hated and more isolated than ever before. Addressing an international Palestinian Solidarity Conference, Hossein Sheikh-ul-Islam said that whole world should join hands and express solidarity with oppressed Palestinians whose rights have been usurped. The conference was organized by Palestine Foundation (PLF) of Pakistan at a local hotel. The Iranian official said that the Zionist regime is flouting all international resolutions on the issue of Palestine. “Resistance which has always tipped the balance against the enemies shall strongly continue as the only resource for liberation of the oppressed people of Palestine,' said Hossein Sheikh-ul-Islam. Secretary General Palestine-Quds conference said the invaluable victories of Palestinian and Lebanese people in recent years have frustrated all the plans of Zionist regime and its supporters. “On future of the developments in the Middle East we have no doubt that the balance of power will finally tip in the favor of the nations of the region, including the oppressed people of Palestine,” said the official. Today the wave of Islamic Awakening has engulfed the entire region and has opened a new determining chapter in the history of Islamic Ummah, he said. “It is accurate to say that today the issue of Palestine has gained importance and the Palestinian nation has the right to expect more from Muslim countries in the current regional conditions,” said Hossein Sheikh-ul-Islam. The Iranian advisor expressing his opinion said that today the supporter of Zionist regime, America is more embattled and confused than ever before. Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, Secretary General of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, said that father of Islamic Revolution, late mam Khomeini inaugurated Al-Quds day as an integral part of Ramadan so that Muslims would never forget their responsibility and duty towards Palestine and all oppressed people in the world He said that Zionist regime is getting weak by each day. He said the West is creating problems in Syria because the Syrian government is not yielding to Zionists' dominance in the region. 'Effort to defeat pillar of Islam is going on in Syria,' Allama Raja Nasir Abbas noted. The MWM leader said that US has been defeated in Iraq and Afghanistan. Dr Haidar Dekmak, President International Quds Association thanked Palestine Foundation (PLF) of Pakistan for organizing a conference on the issue of Palestine. He said that world is not aware of the atrocities of Zionists’ against the people of Palestine. Dekmak said that Palestinians are brave people and standing against the Zionists' aggression. 'The issue of Palestine is the issue of whole mankind,' he pointed out. Dekmak said that there is a need for collective efforts to liberate the land of Palestine. Ahmad Mali, In charge of political bureau of Hezbollah on the occasion said that Hezbollah has defeated Zionist regime. He thanked Iran and Pakistan for supporting Hezbollah. He added that Zionists cannot stop resistance movements. He said that the West is hatching a conspiracy to divide Muslim Ummah. Ahmad Mali, was of the view that the only objective of US is to protect the Zionist regime. “We have to set our goals by ourselves,” he said. Allama Amin Shaheedi Deputy Secretary General, Majlis Wehdat Muslemeen (MWM) said that West is creating misunderstandings among Ummah. He said US is the root cause of problems in the Muslim World. He said that crime of Syria is that the country is not accepting the American dominance and supporting the cause of Palestine. Criticizing the double standards of the West, MWM leader said that they are trying to topple the government in Syria, but on the other hand they are helping Khalifa of Bahrain against the desires of Bahraini people. 'We have to take some steps for the awakening of Ummah,' he advised. MWM leader stressed upon the unity of Muslims for countering anti-Islam conspiracies. Allama Amin Shaheedi said that West is busy in doing negative propaganda against Islam. Senior Vice President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Agha Murtaza Poya was of the view that leaders of Arab world are busy protecting the Zionist regime. He said that liberation of Palestine is tantamount to the liberation of mankind. Poya said that Imam Khoemeni had raised the issue of Palestine to the whole world. He added that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is being punished for challenging the Zionist regime. Religious scholar regretted that the Arab rulers had given 1 billion dollars to Saddam for launching war against Iran. Speaking on the occasion, Chief of Awami Muslim League, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed praised Imam Khoemeni for defending the rights of Muslims around the world. 'I am with Palestinian cause,' he said. Expressing his views, Qazi Ahmed Noorani of Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam said that issue of Palestine belongs to the whole humanity. He added that the Zionist regime has been killing innocent people of Palestine and the rulers of Muslim world have become a silent spectator to the atrocities. “Zionists are the enemies of humanity,” he said. J Salik, Chief of World Minorities Alliance Pakistan condemning the atrocities against Palestinians said that United Nations is not playing any role for the rights of innocent Palestinians. He stressed upon a collective effort for the liberation of Palestine. Palestine Foundation Central Spokesman Mr Sabir Karbalai said that Palestine foundation Pakistan has chalked out a comprehensive program to express solidarity with Palestinians during the month of Holy Ramdan to raise strong voice in support of Palestinians. A large number of religious, political leaders, intellectuals, students, women and children participated in the conference.
