S.Leader: Iran Is In A Historical Juncture

Tehran, July 30, IRNA – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said that Iran today is in a sensitive and historical juncture and only a proper understanding of duties can help the nation to achieve its ideals. Ayatollah Khamenei made the above remarks in a meeting with a group of researchers, experts and innovators in the field of science and technology, as well as directors of knowledge-based companies on Sunday. The supreme leader highlighted science as an unending asset for the country and emphasized on the role of scientific economy on upgrading national identity, political power and the country’s independence. The country is making progress and no obstacle or problems can prevent the nation from moving forward,” Ayatollah Khamenei added. Referring to some external political, economic and propaganda pressures from outside aimed at preventing the country from achieving its objectives, the supreme leader noted that Iran is determined to reach the desired point by relying on its own will and efforts./end
