Iran’s support for Syria will help foil plots: Lebanese ex-president

TEHRAN,July 31(MNA) – Former Lebanese President Emile Lahoud said that the support of Iran and Russia for the Syrian government will help foil the enemies’ plot against the crisis-hit Arab country. During a recent meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Beirut Ghazanfar Roknabadi, Lahoud also said that the enemies’ plot against Syria is due to the country’s resistance against Israel.
