efforts in promoting investment in and tapping potential of the East-West
Economic Corridor.
Host and guest shared the view that relations between the two cities have
undergone great changes after one year of implementing the Minute of
Understanding on Economic Cooperation.
Over the past year, Kawasaki has sent three environment experts to
Danang to help deploy project " Environment-friendly City " and extended
expertise assistance in port management.
The Japanese city has also presented 3,600 bicycles to poor children in
Danang.
So far, 35 Japanese enterprises have poured investment worth 207 million
USD in total into the central port city, focusing on assembling electronic
