Jalili: Iran Expects A Clear Response

Tehran, Aug 4, IRNA - Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili said Thursday evening that giving a clear response to Tehran's realistic demands is a logical expectation. Jalili made the remarks in a telephone conversation with the European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton. The Islamic Republic of Iran has adopted a constructive, effective and initiative approach regarding the nuclear talks, Jalili said. Welcoming the proposals made by the Iranian nuclear negotiator during the recent talks in Istanbul, ms Ashton said she is going to sum up views of the G5+1 about Iran's demands and inform its results to Jalili by the end of the Muslims holy month of Ramadan (August 19). The two agreed to have another telephone conversation after the holy Ramadan./end
