Turkey, Qatar promise to help free abducted Iranian pilgrims in Syria

TEHRAN,Aug.6(MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi held separate telephone conversations with his Turkish and Qatari counterpart late on Saturday, asking them to help obtain the release of 47 Iranian pilgrims who were kidnapped in Damascus on the same day. Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Qatari Foreign Minister Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber bin Muhammad Al Thani both promised to help secure the release of the abductees.
