Tehran gallery to hang works by Italian painter Roberto Cozzolino

TEHRAN,Aug.13(MNA) -- A collection of paintings by the Italian painter Roberto Cozzolino is scheduled to be exhibited in a show opening today at Tehran’s Andisheh Gallery. Twenty paintings with the theme of Palestine will be showcased at the exhibit entitled “A Step toward Freedom”, the gallery announced in a press release on Sunday. The exhibit has been organized by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the Iranian Cultural Attaché’s Office in Rome and the Andisheh Cultural Center. The Italian people don’t know the truth about Palestine due to the misinformation spread by the Western media, the organizers said quoting Cozzolino. He plans to challenge the Western propaganda against the Palestinians by the medium of art. The gallery is located in Andisheh Park on Shariati Ave.
