Iranian actress Nadia Deldar-Golchin dies at 52
TEHRAN,Aug.16(MNA) -- Iranian actress Nadia Deldar-Golchin died after suffering from chronic kidney disease at Tehran’s Erfan Hospital on Wednesday at the age of 52.
Deldar-Golchin was mostly known for the roles she played in TV series. However, she began her career playing in “Lucifer”, a thriller directed by Ahmadreza Darvish in 1990 when she was 30.
Her credits also include “Blue-Veiled” directed by Rakhshan Bani-Etemad, “Help Me” by Rasul Mollaqolipur, “The Girl in the Sneakers” by Rasul Sadr Ameli and “A Mother’s Love” and “Sheyda” by Kamal Tabrizi.
Her funeral procession was held at the Vahdat Hall today and she was laid to rest in the Artists’ Section of Tehran’s Behesht-e Zahra Cemetery.
