COMMODITY TURNOVER BETWEEN UKRAINE AND AZERBAIJAN INCREASES BY 23 PERCENT

Baku, 17 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)Commodity turnover between Ukraine and Azerbaijan made up US $ 800 mln over the past eight month of 2008 up by 23 percent on the same period last year, head of the trade-economic mission (TEM) of Ukraine Embassy to Azerbaijan Miroslav Blashuk told at today’s briefing.

Mr. Blashuk underlined that export to Azerbaijan and Ukraine constituted 620 mln and
180 mln dollars respectively. Commodity turnover between Azerbaijan and Ukraine is
expected to be increased by one billion dollars by the end of 2008, head of TEM
added.
