New Delhi to host seminars by Iranian literati

TEHRAN,Aug.22(MNA) -- A panel of Iranian literati will travel to India next week to hold three seminars on modern Persian fiction in the academic centers of New Delhi. The group includes Razieh Tojjar, Abdolmajid Najafi, Ali-Akbar Valaii, Samira Aslanpur, Majid Mollamohammadi, Zahra Zavvarian and Alireza Qazveh, organizer the Iranian Fiction Foundation announced in a press release on Tuesday. The first of the seminar will be held at Aligarh Muslim University on August 27. Jawaharlal Nehru University will host the second on August 29 and the third will be arranged at the University of Delhi on August 30. A number of the latest books by Iranian writers will also be introduced during the colloquiums. The experts are also scheduled to deliver speeches on the literary works on 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war, Persian children’s literature and women’s literature.
