Another Iranian film joins Montreal festival lineup

TEHRAN,Aug.22(MNA) -- The Visual Media Institute (VMI), an Iranian studio for home video productions, announced on Tuesday that director Manuchehr Hadi’s “Someone Wanna Talk to You” will go on screen at the Montreal World Film Festival. The film tells the story Yasaman, a girl who lives with her mother. She has never seen her father who left them after Yasaman’s birth. Her mother has to find her ex-husband after Yasaman is declared brain dead in a fatal accident. Shahab Hosseini, Anahita Nemati, Hamidreza Pegah, Yekta Nasser and Hanieh Gholami star in the film. Another VMI production, “Hatred” directed by Amir Dormishian, is also scheduled to compete at the festival, which will be held from August 23 to September 3. The movie is about the life of an Iranian couple after immigrating to Turkey.
