Thai PM satisfied with government's first-year performance

BANGKOK, August 24 (TNA) - Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra says she is satisfied with her government's first-year performance and has told her Cabinet members to announce their achievements and report their work to her so that she will report it to the public and the Thai Parliament by next month. Government Spokeswoman Sansanee Nakpong told a press conference that Premier Yingluck made the remarks during her meeting with ministers of her ruling Pheu Thai Party at Baan Phitsanulok, the Thai prime minister’s official residence, in Bangkok on Friday. At the meeting, Sansanee said, the Pheu Thai Cabinet members discussed achievements of each ministry in the first year of the incumbent administration. (TNA)
