Iranian president visits quake-affected areas in NW Iran

TABRIZ,Aug.25(MNA) – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Friday visited the areas affected by two successive earthquakes that hit the northwestern province of East Azarbaijan on August 11. Ahmadinejad held a meeting with the relevant ministers and officials there, in which he called for efforts to reconstruct the affected areas to be stepped up.
