Iran’s NAM presidency will thwart U.S. plots: Iranian MP

TEHRAN,Aug.26(MNA) – As Iran is set to officially assume the presidency of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) on Thursday, August 30, the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee chairman says it will foil the United States’ conspiracies against the Islamic Republic. Speaking to the Persian service of the Mehr News Agency on Saturday, Alaeddin Boroujerdi said, “In a situation that the U.S. and its allies make every effort to isolate the Islamic Republic, Iran’s presidency of the largest political organization… proves that the global arrogance’s conspiracies have not affected our country.”
