Iranian, Egyptian FMs hold talks on Syria

TEHRAN,Aug.26(MNA) – During a telephone conversation on Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and his Egyptian counterpart Mohamed Kamel Amr held talks on the Syrian crisis. It was the second time that the Iranian and Egyptian foreign ministers had held a telephone conversation after the Tehran Consultative Meeting on Syria on August 9, where it was proposed that a contact group be established to help defuse the Syrian crisis through political channels.
