National Museum of Iran attracts visitors from NAM summit

TEHRAN,Sept.2(MNA) – The National Museum of Iran (NMI) attracted over 250 visitors from the 16th Non-Aligned Movement summit, which was held last week in Tehran. The visits were made from August 26 to 30, NMI Director Asadollah Mohammadpur told. Nepal Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai and his family, a Mongolian delegation led by President Elbegdorj Tsakhia, and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh were among the visitors. Several short tours of Tehran were arranged by the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Organization (CHTHO) for NAM officials and their families during the summit.
