‘China opposed to pressuring Iran over its nuclear program’

TEHRAN,Sept.15(MNA) – A top Chinese legislator said that Beijing is opposed to exerting pressure, imposing sanctions, or issuing threats against Iran over its nuclear program. The chairman of the Standing Committee of Chinese National People’s Congress, Wu Bangguo, made the remarks during a meeting with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Tehran on Tuesday. Ahmadinejad and Wu called for the expansion of ties during the meeting.
