7 foreign troupes invited to Marivan Street Theater Festival

TEHRAN,Sept.16(MNA) -- Seven foreign theater troupes have been invited to the 7th Marivan International Street Theater Festival, which will be held in the city in the western Iranian province of Kordestan from September 27 to October 2. The troupes competing in the International Section are from Germany, India, France, Tajikistan, the Netherlands, Iraq and Indonesia, organizers of the festival announced on Saturday. Thirty-one Iranian troupes will also be performing in the Iranian Competition Section. The Children’s Section has been added to this year’s festival. The troupes are also scheduled to give performances in Sarvabad, Barderasheh, Kanidinar and several other villages near Marivan.
