Isfahan children’s festival to review Croatian animated films

TEHRAN,Sept.18(MNA) -- Organizers of Iran’s International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults planned to review animated films by Croatian directors in a special section. A collection of eleven animated short films is due to be screened during the festival, which will be running from October 8 to 13 in Isfahan. Making animated films has been a serious art form in Croatia since the 1950s. The collection includes “Cat” directed by Goran Stojnic, “In Chains” by Daniel Suljic, “Little Man Dreamsy” by Ivana Guljasevic and “Of Boogers and Men” by Darko Vucenik. Works by Manuel Sumberac, Veljko Popovic and Midhat Ajanovic will also go on screen in this section.
