I want to set Guinness World Record, Siamand Rahman says

TEHRAN,Sept.24(MNA) – Paralympic gold-medal winner Siamand Rahman said on Sunday that he is going to set a new Guinness World Records as the most powerful man in the world.
Rahman won the gold medal in the Men’s +100kg powerlifting and broke the record of the Paralympic Games.
The 23-year-old broke the record with his opening lift of 270kg and then he lifted 280kg in his second attempt.
In his third attempt, Rahamn failed to lift 301kg and surprisingly, he opted not to try for the record again in his fourth attempt.
“There is no excuse for what happened in London but I have to say I can lift more than 300kg. The South Korean lifter protested over the referee’s performance and created a 15-minute gap between my lifts. I promise to lift more than 300kg in the upcoming competitions,” Rahman said.
“I want to set the new Guinness World Records as the most powerful man in the world. I am the world and Paralympic record holder now,” he said.
