Iran's 1st VP Congratulates Sellal Appointment As Algerian PM

Tehran, Sept 25, IRNA – First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi Tuesday extended message of congratulations to Abdelmalek Sellal on his appointment as new Algerian Prime Minister. In his message, Rahimi expressed hope that the two countries would witness promotion of all-out cooperation during Sellal's tenure. Rahimi further voiced Iran's readiness to hold second meeting of Iran-Algeria joint commission in next few months. He also wished prosperity and success for the Algerian nation and government. Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika named technocrat Abdelmalek Sellal as new Algerian premier on September 3./end
