Iran opposed to bloodshed, foreign intervention in Syria: Iranian diplomat

TEHRAN,Sept.27(MNA) – Iranian Ambassador to Damascus Mohammad Reza Sheibani said that the Islamic Republic is firmly opposed to bloodshed in Syria and believes that national dialogue is the only solution to the country’s crisis. Speaking at a conference attended by Syrian opposition figures on Sunday, Sheibani emphasized that Iran respects the Syrian people’s aspirations and believes that reforms should be pursued. He added that Tehran is opposed to foreign interference in Syria.
