PM tells Team Thailand to promote domestic investment

NEW YORK, September 28 (TNA) - Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has told Thai authorities who are in the Team Thailand in America and Latin America to present the updated and proper political situation in Thailand to create confidence among foreign investors and attract more investment projects into the Thai economy. Yingluck, who is visiting the United States to attend the 67th United Nations General Assembly in New York from September 23-29, handed over the policy to the Team Thailand during a meeting in New York on Thursday local time, saying that she has also ordered the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs to communicate her government's useful policies on trade, investment and foreign affairs to other countries. At the meeting, Yingluck also asked the Team Thailand to boost diplomatic relations and introduce local Thai products to foreign investors. Besides, the prime minister ordered the Team Thailand to serve Thai people in New York well, stressing that she wants the Royal Thai Consulate-General in New York to work for the happy life of Thai nationals there.
