Baku will not facilitate Israeli strike on Iran: Azerbaijani ambassador

TEHRAN,Oct.7(MNA) - The Azerbaijani ambassador to Pakistan said on Tuesday that Baku will not allow Israel or any other country to use its airspace or ground to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, Ynetnews reported. It was reported on Sunday that Azerbaijan is considering allowing Israel to use its airbases for fueling should it launch a unilateral strike on Tehran’s nuclear facilities. Ambassador Dashgin Shikrov said, “Azerbaijan has been following a policy of non-interference in the affairs of other countries.” “Azerbaijan is member of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and nobody should have any doubt that it will not permit the use of its territory for committing acts of aggression against another OIC member,” he stated.
