A group of Canadian indigenous people to travel to Iran

TEHRAN,Oct.7(NNA) – A number of the indigenous people of Canada, who are called First Nations in this country, are scheduled to travel to Iran in the coming few days. The delegation, which comprises individuals who are opposed to Canadian government’s policies toward the indigenous people, will hold talks with a number of Iranian officials. Iran has repeatedly expressed its concern about the violation of the rights of First Nations in Canada.
