Iranian navy prepared to deploy vessels in Atlantic, Pacific oceans

TEHRAN,Oct.9(MNA) – The commander of the Iranian Navy said on Monday that Iran is prepared to deploy naval vessels in Atlantic, Pacific, and Antarctic oceans and the southern part of the Indian Ocean. Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari also said, “Today, the Iranian Navy is highly capable of having presence on the open seas in every part of the world using its committed and expert forces.” He added that the open seas belong to all countries, noting that Iran will have presence on international waters to protect its interests.
