Iran asks Qatar to help obtain release of abductees in Syria

TEHRAN,Oct.10(MNA) – The Iranian Majlis expects the Qatari government to effectively utilize its influence to help obtain the release of the Iranian nationals who were abducted in Syria in August, Majlis speaker Ali Larijani told his Qatari counterpart Mohamed bin Mubarak al-Kholaifi during a telephone conversation on Tuesday. Kholaifi said that Qatar is pursuing the issue of the Iranian abductees and will make every effort to obtain their release as soon as possible.
