S.Leader: Iranians After Making Progress Based On Logic Of Islam

Bojnourd, North Khorassan Prov, Oct 10, IRNA – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Wednesday that the key objective of the Iranian nation was to make progress based on "logic of Islam." The Ayatollah made the remarks while addressing a large group of local people gathered in the main stadium of this northeastern provincial capital city. Stressing the need to foster the trend of national progress by Iranian officials, Ayatollah Khamenei said, "The logic of Islam stresses making progress in the field of sciences, morality, justice, public welfare, economy, political independence and national and international credibility as well as devotion to the God." The Supreme Leader arrived in Bojnourd Wednesday morning on a week-long visit. The Ayatollah was officially welcomed at the airport by a number of local authorities. During his week-long stay, Ayatollah Khamenei is to hold separate meetings with people from different walks of life to become closely familiar with their problems. Meeting with families of wartime martyrs, as well as provincial academics and clerics is also on the Supreme Leader's schedule. Ayatollah Khamenei is accompanied by members of the cabinet which is to hold a session in his presence./end
