Turkey, Syria should exercise restraint to prevent regional conflict: Iran

TEHRAN,Oct.13(MNA) – Turkey and Syria should prevent conflict in the region through practicing self-restraint, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said during a press conference in Astana, Kazakhstan, late on Thursday. “We are keeping a close eye on the tension between Syria and Turkey and have advised the two countries’ officials to resolve the tension as soon as possible,” Mehmanparast stated. He also said that Iran is making every effort to promote stability and security in the region.
