Iran denies claims it supports PKK

TEHRAN,Oct.14(MNA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast denied the claims that Iran is providing support to the PKK (Workers’ Party of Kurdistan). “Turkish officials know our stance and acknowledge that (this) group… is being supported by certain other countries. Our region is sensitive and certain Western countries do not want stability and security to be established in the region,” Mehmanparast stated during a press conference in Astana, Kazakhstan, on Saturday.
