Iran-Japan relations should not be affected by hegemons:Iranian EC chairman

TEHRAN,Oct.17(MNA) – The strong ties between Tehran and Tokyo should not be affected by “the avarice of the tyrannical powers,” Expediency Council Chairman Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani told Japanese Ambassador to Tehran Kinchi Komano during a meeting on Monday. At the meeting, Rafsanjani described relations between the two countries as “historical and strategic” and called for the expansion of ties in all spheres.
